Olivier’s LNCS Paper (Nearly) Accepted

Olivier’s invited paper for Springer LNCS Transactions on Computational Collective Intelligence has been accepted for publication. Excellent news – especially as our REF submissions are being externally reviewed tomorrow. At least I’ll have something to talk about.

Looking for Churches…

Belinda (Colston) and I visited Keith Halliday at the Lincolnshire Diocesan Advisory Commitee (DAC) yesterday. The purpose of the DAC is to oversee work to church buildings in Lincolnshire, and so our hope was to get some help in identifying local churches with bat populations which have internal modifications┬áplanned in the next 2 years – ideal sites to collect video data, and to help develop and test bat behaviour monitoring systems. Keith was very helpful, and we left with a list of possible sites, and contact details – really exceeded our expectations…
